Just so you guys know, I'm not dead XD
It's just that with finals, summer school starting, my part-time job starting, my friends getting in a bad car accident, I broke a toe...life gets complicated.
Ballet is on hold for summer due to my summer school. My day is 7AM to 9PM with work and classes so there's no time for ballet right now. I do hope to start again in the fall, but I might not be able to because of work, but that's just going to have to be a sacrifice I'll have to make for college.
The recital went great! I didn't get stage fright on the recital, but I did get really nervous during the dress rehearsal. Right before the recital I hoped over an ottoman and fractured my pinky toe. I decided to dance on it anyway even though it really hurt.
Here is the video that someone took of our performance. I am the last person to enter on the left side of the screen:
I hope that link works!

Diary update!
It's been what feels like forever since I last posted. Ballet is going great! I decided to participate in the recital after all, and have been given a vacant position. YAY! Right now the moves are real simple, but I'm having a lot of trouble with this jumping combination she gave us. It's something-I-forget, glissade, and an assemblé. I just cannot get this combination! ARGH!
My form has greatly improved. My hips are correct for the most part, I'm turning out more, and my knees no longer hurt as a result of all these! YAY! During the weekend, I'm going to put a beginner's guide to form up here to help those starting out.
I hope everyone else is doing well in their studies! Keep going strong!!
